Our Story
Barista Cat Cafe was born from a simple observation: the people who need a quiet place to slow down the most are often the ones with the least time to find it. We opened our doors on West College Avenue to give State College a space where great coffee and compassionate adoption live under the same roof.
Every drink is pulled from a professional-grade La Marzocca, every pour-over is timed to the second, and every cat in our lounge is a registered shelter resident — spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and socialized with the intention of finding a permanent home.
We partner with local rescue organizations across Centre County. A portion of every beverage sale goes directly toward veterinary care and adoption fees. When you sit with us, you're not just having coffee — you're changing a life.
